When it Looks Like Rain

We all have those days that are rainy and blah…When you have to go out and about and it’s storming, you have to dress with the weather in mind.  So I have developed a bit of a uniform for those rainy days when I don’t have to be dressed to the nines.  So on those days I wear a lightweight silk shirt, shorts, flip flops (rubber and made in Brazil), and spectacular accessories(like this bag). It’s perfect for looking somewhat put together. Plus I dry off really easily and no good shoes get caught in the rain, now that would be disastrous. I know I’ll have to upgrade this uniform of sorts, but for now it works perfectly. After all, when it’s storming you have to be comfortable.

Well I have a ton of work to do; a ton of painting in particular. So I’ll be logging off. I hope you all have had a fabulous weekend!!!

Wearing: thrifted silk satin T;thrifted vintage earrings; gifted and thrifted bracelets; denim shorts from a friend; Payless flip flops(rubber); and vintage elephant bag(I’m obsessed with elephants).

  1. Your bag makes me so so happy! I can't believe it has a silly elephant on it. It's super easy to make yourself look put together with just the addition of something simple, which is awesome for us blogger/fashion aware people 🙂

  2. Loving that bag…So many fabulous colors! I totally have a warm weather uni…A maxi dress and sandals or bermuda shorts and Hanes mens tanks. It was lovely meeting you on Sat! xoxo

  3. Thanks for peeping my blog! *hugs*

Ooooooh… The bag?!? If I asked really nicely, could I have it lol?

    heheh I kid, I joke..

    Prettiful outfit.

And you're a Jesus kid! Good on ya!
oooh Following you now… Forgot to before! :S

  4. I have a rainy day uniform, too. Usually it's long-ish shirt, leggings, boots and sweater. And something waterproof to lug my school things around, of course.

Oh, I almost forgot–I lovelovelove that bag! So much! The elephant, the bold primary colors, the ELEPHANT, the little bit of tassels, and did I mention the elephant?

Find me at Just Take a Bow.

I love to hear what you think!
