Like a Tie

Follow my blog with bloglovin

Well a lot has been happening in my life. Many really cool opportunities have come down my path and sometime this week I will elaborate on them. But when it comes to blogging I love it, a lot. But I’ve realized that I can only be me and I hope that I always stay that way. I have been reading blogs since 2008 and have seen many amazingly cool people like Karla,Jane,Rumi, and a plethora more bloggers grow. I can only be me the me that God has created me to be so dear readers I have had to get this of my chest. In addition I have also learned that I must not be narcissistic. It’s never a good thing and to be avoided like the plague.
But back to fashion related things I designed and made this wonderful little silk top it’s made entirely out of recycled materials (a men’s shirt to be exact) and is a very easy piece to wear. I’m thinking that it will be worn many, many, times this summer and the fact that the pattern reminds me of a  silk men’s tie gets me every time. Because for the longest time I have wanted to have a shirt with a tie like print and now it’s a reality is a truly wonderful thing.  And on a jewellry related note for the past couple of days I have been wearing the above pictured assortment of bangles and bracelets I can’t get enough of them. wearing: self designed and made silk top, vint sequin top worn backwards as a vest, thrifted skirt, plethora of assorted bracelets,a couple of rings, elephant pendant from Michaels Craft store, and Gianni Bini shoes.

Happy Sunday and thanks for dropping by and to all you readers out there.  Thank you for reading my blog even though it’s changed a lot in the past few months. I have wanted to have blog where I can express my self and post what I wore and all such things. So thank you  = ) I hope you all have a blessed day.
